A new bakery has officially opened its doors in the heart of the town, much to the delight of local residents. “The Buttercup Bakery,” located on High Street, promises to deliver freshly baked goods daily, ranging from classic sourdough loaves to indulgent pastries and custom-made celebration cakes.
Owned by lifelong baker and entrepreneur Sarah Lawson, The Buttercup Bakery prides itself on using locally sourced ingredients. “We want to offer the community a place where they can enjoy high-quality, delicious baked goods while supporting local suppliers,” Sarah explained during the bakery’s opening event.
The grand opening, held this Saturday, saw a lively turnout of curious customers eager to sample the bakery’s offerings. Free samples of their signature pecan pie and rosemary focaccia were distributed, earning rave reviews from attendees.
The bakery also aims to serve as a community hub, with plans to host baking workshops and coffee mornings in the coming months. Its welcoming interior, featuring warm wooden furniture and cosy seating areas, offers an ideal space for customers to relax and socialise.
